For at least the last year now, Audrey pronounces "give" like "gov" - "That toy Jared gov me". It's the funniest thing because she has very good diction most of the time, but this one just sticks with her. I love it.
As she's growing up we've found that she really has such a generous heart... on the way home today we had McDonald's in the car, and Jared dropped one of his mcnuggets and was upset about it. She handed him one of hers without comment - she didn't play it up like "Look at me" or anything, it was just matter of fact, Jared dropped his so she was giving him one.
While Jared is an amazing kid, this kind of generosity does not come naturally to him - perhaps something about having been an only child for a few years and then having that taken away from you, vs Audrey who's never known what it's like to be an only :-) Hrm, does that mean I was super generous when I was a kid? Whaddya think, guys?
